1. The basics
BLFFD, published by Piece of Web, is free to download and play, supported by ads. We may offer optional paid extras — one-time in-app purchases or subscriptions (for example, removing ads or unlocking extra content). You never need to pay to host a lobby, join a game, or play full rounds. This policy is part of our Terms & Conditions.
2. How payments work
We don't take your payment details — ever. All purchases in BLFFD are processed by the platform you play on:
- iOS — billed by Apple through your App Store account.
- Android — billed by Google through your Google Play account.
Your payment method, card details, and billing address are held by Apple or Google under their terms and privacy policies. We only receive confirmation that a purchase happened, so we can unlock what you bought.
3. Prices & taxes
Prices are shown in the app before you confirm any purchase, in your local currency where the store supports it. Prices may include or exclude taxes (VAT, sales tax) depending on your country — the store checkout always shows the final amount. Prices can vary between platforms and countries and may change over time; changes never apply retroactively to purchases you've already made.
4. One-time in-app purchases
- One-time purchases (e.g., a permanent ad-free unlock or a content pack) are delivered to your BLFFD account right after the store confirms payment.
- Purchases are tied to your BLFFD account and platform store account. They can't be transferred to another person or sold.
- Virtual items and unlocks have no real-world cash value and can't be exchanged for money.
- If a purchase doesn't show up, restart the app and use Restore Purchases in settings — and if it's still missing, email us and we'll sort it out.
5. Subscriptions
If we offer a subscription, this is how it works:
Auto-renewal
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (e.g., monthly or yearly) until you cancel.
- Your store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price shown when you subscribed (or the price you last accepted).
- The subscription price and billing period are always displayed clearly in the app before you confirm.
Free trials & intro offers
- Some subscriptions may start with a free trial or introductory price. When the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid one automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Trials and intro offers are typically limited to one per person.
How to cancel
You cancel through the store, not inside BLFFD:
- iOS — Settings → your name → Subscriptions → BLFFD → Cancel Subscription. Or see Apple's guide to cancelling subscriptions.
- Android — Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → BLFFD → Cancel. Or see Google's guide to cancelling subscriptions.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid being charged for the next one. After cancelling, you keep your benefits until the end of the period you've already paid for — there's no partial refund for the remaining time, except where the law or the store's policy provides one. Deleting the app or your BLFFD account does not cancel a subscription — you must cancel it in your store settings.
Price changes
If a subscription price increases, Apple or Google will notify you in advance, and depending on your platform and country you may need to actively agree before the new price applies. If you don't agree, the subscription simply ends at the close of the current period.
6. Refunds
Because Apple and Google process all payments, refunds are issued by them under their policies — we can't pull money back on their behalf:
- Apple (iOS) — request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play (Android) — request a refund from your Play order history, or see Google Play's refund policy.
That said, if something went wrong on our side — you paid and didn't get what you bought, or you were charged twice — email [email protected] with your store receipt and we'll help make it right, including supporting your refund request with the store. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory refund or withdrawal rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
7. Failed payments & chargebacks
If a renewal payment fails, the store may retry it or pause your subscription benefits until payment succeeds. If a payment for a purchase is reversed through a chargeback that turns out to be abusive (e.g., after fully consuming the purchase), we may remove the associated items or suspend the account involved — but we'll always look at the situation first, and honest disputes are never punished.
8. If we discontinue a paid feature
If we ever permanently discontinue a paid feature or the Service itself, we'll give reasonable notice where possible. Active subscriptions won't renew beyond the shutdown date, and where required by law or store policy, remaining paid periods will be refunded through the store.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes — for example, introducing a new subscription — we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. For major changes, we'll also notify you in the app.
10. Contact us
Billing questions, missing purchases, or refund help — email [email protected] or use our contact form. Include your store receipt if you have one; it speeds things up a lot.
This policy is written in plain language on purpose. It is not legal advice. Your rights under Apple's and Google's store terms, and under the consumer law where you live, always apply alongside it.
